Back in the fold!

Postby L111CHT » Sun May 19, 2019 9:33 pm

So after a near 10 year hiatus I’m back in a wee roadster and loving it :D

Not sure if anyone will remember but I had a red mk1 BBR Turbo (K5BBR) on a few runs around 2009/10. Sold that car but always missed the grin factor.

Have recently picked up a BRG Eunos sight unseen off eBay as a project car. It’s amazingly clean and a needs only a few improvements so happy days!

Nice one and welcome back. Looking forward to seeing it. You got any pics from the ad?
Bet that BBR turbo was a hoot on the road!

Host them on postimages.org and paste the ‘hotlink for forums’ link here, storage on this site is full.

Hello there.
It took a long time, but you've finally done the honourable thing and gone BRG!
Still got mine.
In fact, it's just had a complete chassis & coachwork rebuild.
This was it just yesterday when the paint dried so to speak.

Credit must go to Chillax, who came armed with tripod, some top-dog camera, and a lot of patience.
Proper skills Chillax.

I sometimes wonder how RocDoc is doing these days.

Good to see you back. I went away and came back too (this time in ND flavour). Car looks nice.

(BTW, I find https://imgur.com/ to be a very good picture host too (and it also has some limited editing/resizing capabilities too).

Thanks Pablo.
It's just had more "invested" in it than I paid you....how many years ago now? 15, 16?
Complete new chassis inc Koni SRT coil-overs, all wishbones, droplinks, braces, discs, calipers, brake lines...bla-de-bla, Panasport 14", God knows what else but importantly....rot-arrested, fabricated, & injected.

+++Back on the OP's Topic+++
Watch this space with L111CHT's "new" Mk1 folks......if history repeats itself. Hopefully.
"Zoom zoom".......
