oil level on dipstick

Postby iain cooper » Sun Jan 15, 2017 10:56 am

I put in a little engine oil as I thought it was a wee bit below the full mark on the dipstick. ( 3.75 2lt sport )

but now it's about 1-2mm above !!

I thought it might burn off but doesn't seem to want to ( only done about 200 miles )

do you think I should drain a bit off ? or leave it ?

views appreciated

I was hoping you would say that Eddie

what is your logic to back up your statement ? :)

Iain

ps it's done just over 9K miles, so I really wasn't expecting it to burn some off ?

What is your logic to prove it will cause any harm.
