The immobiliser light is on and the engine turns over but will not start. Can you disconnect the immobiliser? I have read that if the immobiliser is at fault you have to replace the ECU and immobiliser plus key switch etc as they are all paired together. Is this true
Would appreciate any assistance with this problem

It would help if you also posted model and year, NA, NB, NC or ND?
